Boluwatife Lola-Dare, is the President and Chief Executive of CHESTRAD Global, an African-led global social enterprise with its headquarters in Nigeria. Dr. Dare is a community physician, epidemiologist, social development consultant and an irrepressible global health advocate of over 30 years.

Lola is an innovative thought leader whose voice is respected as authentically Southern in global, regional and national level dialogues. She is currently Global Director of CHESTARD’S flagship programme on domestic financing, I Will Give (Africa). Her work has sought to positively disrupt traditional norms of development financing, focusing on not only financial inclusion for women and young people, but also expanding domestic resources for health from community giving and philanthropy. Her effort has resulted in the innovative domestic financing platform I Will Give Africa (IWG).

Dr. Lola Dare is a graduate of the College of Medicine University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s foremost and globally renowned College of Medicine. She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Epidemiology (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine); awarded certificates in Population and Development and International Health as Fellow of the Harvard School of Public Health, USA. Dr. Dare holds a certificate in Advance Management from INSEAD, the European Business School, France. Amongst many other awards and qualifications, Dr. Dare was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Public Health.

Dr. Dare’s impact on global health and development at all levels is expansive. She is well published in her spheres of influence and is the author of many reports, policy briefs, thought pieces, papers and technical presentations for governments and corporations globally.
